It is almost impossible to believe that forty years have passed since Michael Jackson released Thriller, an album that did not just break records but changed the course of music history. I still get a thrill every time I press play.

With over 70 million copies sold worldwide, Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time. But its impact goes far beyond sales figures. The album broke down racial barriers on MTV, revolutionized music videos, and proved that pop music could be both commercially successful and artistically ambitious.

Every track on the album is a masterpiece in its own right – from the funk-driven 'Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'' to the rock-influenced 'Beat It' featuring Eddie Van Halen's iconic guitar solo.

Forty years later, Thriller continues to influence artists and inspire fans around the world.
